Marcie Terman, business development director of disaster recovery firm DataFort, says some of her clients are recruiters wishing to ensure vital information was not lost in the event of a disaster.

The advent of broadband has made off-site data recovery viable, even for small businesses.

“Companies must treat their data as if it is the lifeblood of their business,” said Terman. “Agencies have realised that the information they have is of great importance. Having the service off-site protects your data from all sorts of risks.”
