Ashton appointment
Interim management specialist Ashton Penney has continued its recruitment drive with the appointment of a new finance and operations director following a flotation in September.
Bruce Page will lead the finance department from 3 January, taking over from interim director Vivian Silverman who was appointed specifically to handle the flotation.
Page’s appointment is the latest in a recruitment drive which has seen the firm add five new fee-generating consultants to the team, bringing the total number to 15.
However, the restructuring process has led to an interim six-month loss of £206,000.
“I’m pleased with the progress that we have made since our flotation, in that we have attracted a number of high-calibre consultants and are undertaking a growing number of assignments,” said chairman Graham Cole. “With our new offices in the City of London now fully operational, I am confident that we will maintain our progress in the coming months.”
