IT recruitment conglomerate Aquila has bought IT search and selection Jupitec.

Jupitec specialises in providing permanent and interim IT staff to investment banks around the world.

Formed in 1994, Aquila already owns Hamilton Parker International, a headhunter specialising in communications, IT and electronics, Matrix Programme and Project Management, an IT specialist and Lanborne Consulting, which specialises in providing IT sales and marketing professionals.

Parm Flora, Aquila’s group managing director, said: “This is a vital step in our strategy to increase and improve the services we are able to offer.”
