Alchemy works wonders for JobServe
New matching system boosts the number of applications made by jobseekers on its site
JobServe says it has seen a significant increase in the number of applications made by jobseekers through its website following the introduction of Alchemy, its next generation matching software.
Figures for October 2006 show that the company has for the first time processed more than 900,000 job applications in a single month and in five of the last six months it’s exceeded the 800,000 mark.
Alchemy analyses the behaviour of jobseekers using the website - searches made, locations and jobs applied for, are all taken into account along with CV content - it then offers candidates any new jobs advertised by recruiters that closely match their individual pattern.
Ian Frost, marketing manager at JobServe, says: “The matching technology is very accurate and our customers are now seeing the results across all the main industry sectors.
“In a market where most job boards appear to offer a similar level of service it’s important to maintain a competitive advantage and Alchemy has moved the game up a level, it could prove to be the most important innovation we’ve made since the introduction of the first jobs by email service 13 years ago,” Frost adds.
