Agency makes NHS hiring list

Recruit to supply ancillary staff

The industrial and office specialist Recruit Employment Services has secured a place on a preferred supplier list to supply ancillary staff to the NHS.

Milton Keynes-based Recruit, part of Carlisle Staffing Services, will provide 58 different types of staff to the NHS.

The NHS Purchasing and Supply Authority included the recruitment firm in its framework agreement for ancillary staff. The agreement gives a limited number of suppliers access to a £30m staffing spend.

A Recruit spokesman said the extent of Carlisle’s network meant Recruit “would be able to service many of the NHS trusts on the framework that covers England and Wales”.
