Public sector recruiter Social Work Solutions has launched a support line for social workers to discuss career advice or deal with personal problems.

The scheme is the second that SWS’s parent firm, Recruitment Solutions Group, has launched.

The aim of the service is to offer a similar support network to locum social workers to that they would receive working for a local authority full-time.

“Locum workers experience the same stress of the job as full-timers but often feel isolated because they’re not a permanent member of staff,” said SWS managing director Dianne Strauss.
