Richard MacMillan is to quit as head of Adecco in UK and Ireland at the end of the year.

MacMillan has been with the firm for eight years and moves on to pursue other business interests.

Peter Searle has been promoted from his role as head of Ajilon, Adecco’s managed services arm, in the UK, Northern Ireland and Europe.

Searle, 43, has an excellent track record in growing profits and has been with the company for 17 years.

In his new role, he will run Adecco in the UK and Northern Ireland as well as Ajilon in the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe.
