Adecco in trouble
28 August 2012
Results postponed again
The world’s largest employment agency, Adecco, faced fresh embarrassment today after delaying its results for the second time.
Legal issues mean last year’s full results, which were originally due to be published in mid-January, will be delayed again.
Adecco had already delayed its results after a probe into irregularities in its internal systems sparked fears of an Enron-style corporate scandal.
Although it seems unlikely that Adecco’s woes will be on the same scale, the news is a blow to the staffing giant, which had already been criticised for its handling of the situation.
