Adecco in growth mode

UK sales rise

Klaus Jacobs, chairman and chief executive of Adecco, the world’s biggest temporary agency, has forecast revenue growth of 7-9% for several years to come.

Adecco reported revenue of €18.3bn (£12.6bn) for 2005, up 6% on 2004. Net income rose 37% to £311m. Adecco UK accounted for £551m of revenue, up 10% on 2004. Sales at Adecco’s Ajilon UK, which owns Office Angels and other brands were £528m, up 15%.

Jacobs said the company had got off to a “good start” in 2006.

The company is buying German rival DIS for £457m.
