The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has launched an online interactive tool to enable trainees to plan and record the practical experience required for professional membership.

The ‘trainee development matrix’ will also be used by employers to monitor their trainees’ training and progress towards gaining ACCA membership, and as a way for students to report on their progress to the ACCA.

Heather Venis, ACCA’s head of training policy and professional development, says: “The trainee development matrix will allow us to know at any time where our trainees are working and how much relevant training they have received so that we can provide them with appropriate guidance and support.”
