Jobsite is enabling website owners to integrate a customisable job listings board into their sites, potentially bringing a new revenue stream, with its new platform, JobsiteWhite

Gemma Cooney (pictured right), sales director at JobsiteWhite, told Recruiter that it is basically Jobsite “put in a box” and a website owner can embed the functionality into their site via a simple piece of code.

“It was borne out of a lot of feedback over the years that people wanted to supplement what they do with job listings but didn’t want to run their site as a recruitment business,” she said. “We’ve built and powered job boards for people for years but they were bespoke ones and we all know that bespoke comes at a price. So we knew there was a gap in the market for a white label offering.”

Target users of the first release of JobsiteWhite, which was designed and built by custom software experts, ThoughtWorks, includes publishers, associations and industry-specific portals. The first JobsiteWhite partner is Ten Alps Digital, part of the media publisher Ten Alps with its site www.link2portal.com.

As well as the technology, Cooney explained that the package includes a live feed of job listings from the Jobsite network. “So they have a pre-populated job board from day one,” she said.

Cooney believes JobsiteWhite would also be of interest to job boards whose sites aren’t generating as much revenue or performing as well as they could be.

“We’re hoping candidates will benefit as well by having a better recruitment experience,” she said. “As we all know, a bad experience on any website is bad for the entire industry.”
