Jean-Claude Marchand, a non-executive director at StepStone, has resigned. He is to take a new role heading up Swiss publishing group Edipresse.

The resignation is with immediate effect and was made, Marchand said, to avoid any possible conflict of interest.

Marchand was elected as a non-executive director in March this year, having previously worked with the StepStone board in a consultative role.
