AESC to publish bill of rights for search firms

The Association of Executive Search Consultants, a global body representing the headhunting sector, is to publish a clients’ bill of rights.

The bill covers confidentiality, disclosure, timely communication, feedback and iundustry ethics and conduct. AESC chairman Eric Vautour said that it ‘aims to educate the public on the executive search process, and let clients know exactly what to expect from a professional executive search firm.’

The bill will set a minimum ‘off limits’ period.

The AESC represents 160 firms and over 3,500 consultants worldwide.
