HR and recruitment firm Independent has appointed Jo Carr, former head of resourcing at travel company Thomas Cook, as an account manager.

HR and recruitment firm Independent has appointed Jo Carr, former head of resourcing at travel company Thomas Cook, as an account manager.
She will work with the account of the specialist baby and nursery retailer Kiddicare, owned by Morrisons. Carr will be embedded at Kiddicare’s Peterborough head office as it recruits for 10 new stores across the UK.
Before joining Thomas Cook, where she spent three and a half years, Carr worked in HR with financial services firms BGL Group and Travelex.
She says: “The next 12 months is going to be incredibly exciting and rewarding as Kiddicare brings employment opportunities to so many communities across the UK.”
