Retained executive search firm Slayton Search Partners, based in Chicago, has appointed John P Doyle as executive vice president.

Doyle has more than 20 years’ experience in executive search, primarily focused on the human resource function.He joins Slayton Search from global executive search firm Korn/Ferry, where he was a senior client partner. Before Korn/Ferry, Doyle led the North American human resource practice for Spencer Stuart.

Rick Slayton, chief executive of Slayton Search Partners, says: “John is one of the top executive search consultants in the HR function. With the addition of John, our firm will have one of the most dominant HR practices in the industry.”
