Clothing firm Levi Strauss & Co has made Varun Bhatia chief human resources officer, effective on 23 July.

He joins from FMCG brand Kraft Foods where his current role is vice president of HR for Asia-Pacific, and was previously HR head for the razor brand business unit Gillette within Procter & Gamble.
