Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has appointed Daren Hemp as global practice managing director of its industrial practice.

He will relocate to London from Singapore, where he is currently partner-in-charge of the Singapore office.

Before joining the firm in 2008, he was chief executive and managing director of search firm Akamai Financial Markets.

He has 20 years’ search experience.
