Social network LinkedIn’s Hiring Solutions now accounts for 54% of revenue by products for the firm, according to its Q1 2012 financial results.

This puts it well above the 50% mark for the first time. It had stood at 51% for Q3 2011, but then dropped back to exactly half in Q4.Marketing Solutions made up 26% of revenues and 20% came from premium subscriptions.

The US remained the biggest region for revenue at 64%, although it is steadily losing ground to EMEA (23%), APAC (7%) and other Americas (6%).

The number of members rose from 145m to 161m, meaning they have more than doubled since Q3 2010.
