Outsourcing firm Capita’s e-Bulk system is being used by various West Midlands Councils and other public bodies for online criminal record bureau (CRB) checks. The organisations expect to save over £2.6m in total by 2014 as a result of the system, which is being implemented through their joint jobs site WMJobs.

Outsourcing firm Capita’s e-Bulk system is being used by various West Midlands Councils and other public bodies for online criminal record bureau (CRB) checks.

The organisations expect to save over £2.6m in total by 2014 as a result of the system, which is being implemented through their joint jobs site WMJobs.Aimi Kearney, managing director of Capita Recruitment Vetting Service, says that 70% of checks processed have results back within five working days.
