Global professional services company, Towers Watson, has appointed Phil Merrell to lead its change management practice in the UK.

Global professional services company, Towers Watson, has appointed Phil Merrell to lead its change management practice in the UK.

Merrell’s role will be to manage and grow the company’s change management consultancy practice to ensure Towers Watson’s clients achieve changes that deliver sustained success. He will focus on M&A, business transformation and performance improvement.Merrell has over 25 years’ industry experience, starting at the NHS as an HR manager before moving to the BBC, where he rose to head of corporate transition.

He joins Towers Watson from Penna where he was director of consulting services, responsible for business development and the delivery of strategic consulting programmes to clients.
