Michelle Porteus has been appointed director of HR and organisational development at Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust. She also joins the Trust’s board of directors.

Michelle Porteus has been appointed director of HR and organisational development at Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust. She also joins the Trust’s board of directors.

Porteus has 14 years’ senior HR experience in a number of fields across the private and public sectors. Most recently, she was the director of HR at support services firm Carillion, where she led change and transformation projects for local government clients, having previously worked with construction firm Alfred McAlpine.Speaking on her appointment, Porteus said: “I am passionate about putting the patient experience right at the heart of the people agenda… a well-trained and motivated staff will ultimately impact on the patient experience.”
The Trust delivers over 65 health services in over 100 locations, employing 3,500 staff.
