US Acumen Executive Search, a Portland, Oregon-based executive search firm, has opened a health services division.

From its inception in 2007, Acumen has focused on finance, IT, informatics and HR.

Its expertise has since expanded to include medical directors, compliance officers, case managers, registered nurses, practice managers, and programme review and implementation staffing within the healthcare organisations.

Suzanne Hanifin, president of Acumen Executive Search, explains: “Because we already provide services to many health services organisations, such as insurance companies, hospitals, and clinics, it made sense for us to commit resources for this growing business segment.

“It is important to continue to build on what we have already done, which is providing a great service, delivering results and helping many organisations find their next great employee.”
