Norwegian IT company EVRY, formerly EDB ErgoGroup, is looking to recruit 300 new employees in Sweden and Norway in the next few weeks.

The newly-launched recruitment drive will see the new employees divided equally between the two countries, with business & infrastructure consulting, project & test management, solutions architecture, systems development and technical consulting roles making up a large number of the newly-created roles. The firm will be recruiting via events at railway stations, giving commuters breakfast and an information package on the firm, as it targets “pointing out how IT specialists can find an attractive workplace without having to sit on a commuter train for several hours every day”.

It is also working with Trondheim University’s student union to create a competition, delivered via an app, with prizes including summer jobs.

EVRY has 10,000 employees across its Nordic region operations, with an annual turnover approaching kr13bn (£1.4bn).
