Cairo’s Grand Egyptian Museum will provide 15,000 jobs when it opens in 2015, according to an announcement from minister of state antiquities, reports HotelierMiddleEast.com.

The project already employs 5,000 people and is in the final phase of construction.The website reports that the total cost of the museum will be E£5bn (£530m), and having previously been scheduled for March 2015 opening, it has now been pushed back to August.
