Job board Monster Brazil and media group Grupo Estado have formed a strategic alliance.

Under the agreement Empregos & Carreiras (Jobs & Careers), a weekly print title and classified ad page on Grupo Estado’s website, will offer Monster.com.br’s “complete profile of online recruitment services”.Fabio Costa, Grupo Estado’s executive director, says: “This alliance celebrates the union between Estado’s classified/ad pages, the most respected with the largest number of ads and the highest return rate in print publications in Brazil, with Monster, the worldwide leader in connecting people to job opportunities.”

Empregos & Carreiras is printed every Sunday, has a circulation of 285,000 and more than 1,500 job offers per edition.

Monster launched in Brazil in August 2010 and now has a database of 1.5m CVs and over 300 companies as clients.
