On-demand car service Uber is to create 300 jobs at a new centre for excellence in Limerick, Ireland.

The centre on Thomas Street is to create 150 customer service roles by the end of the year and 300 when it is fully operational, Ireland’s Department for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation revealed in a statement.
