I think it was about 1994 that Mrs Fagg’s role became redundant. Mrs Fagg worked for the Employment Standards Office in Watford and without notice she, or other members of her team, could make an inspection of your recruitment business and withdraw your licence to operate — in other words, put you out of business. What’s more, you couldn’t start up again without a licence.
