The UK government has proposed changes to the legislation that govern staff transfers to new employers. Graham Paul explains the likely effect on outsourcing projects
On 10 September, the government published its public consultation paper on proposed reforms to the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 1981 (Tupe). The consultation period ends in December but any legislative changes are unlikely before next summer.
