Executive search firms have had to adapt to survive

The economic downturn hit most recruitment firms hard, and it’s certainly claimed a few scalps in the headhunting arena. Over the past 18 months, there has been a scourge of redundancies, with many of the big name search firms reporting major write-downs in assets and the combined share value of publicly-listed headhunters falling.
