Transaction fees are a thorny issue – neither buyers nor travellers want to absorb them – but there are new ways to disperse the costs
Given the choice of paying £36.00 or £76.00 for the same flight, you would, inevitably, pay the lower amount. It is therefore no surprise that business travellers take the same view. For them the extra £40 is easily avoided. They do it by booking their own seat (usually online with a low-cost carrier), bypassing their employer’s TMC and transaction fee.
