Too often, IT projects hit the headlines for the wrong reasons. The recent dispute between the Co-op and ICL is just one in a long line of high-profile contracts that have ended up in the hands of the lawyers.

Obviously, there can be a range of underlying causes behind the failure of an IT project, but in many cases the contract itself gets the blame.
