When the Working Time Regulations are applied to drivers next year, costs could go up by 15 per cent, but a holistic view of freight movement might help, says Philip Bruce

Transportation is a major cost for many companies, and with logistics providers' profit margins down to 1 or 2 per cent in some operations, it's unlikely that price reductions can save any more money.
