Gavin Ford dreaded the ring of his mobile before his recent promotion brought his days on call to an end. He tells Cathy Hayward about life as a buyer and now a provider of facilities management
For the first time in the 10 years Gavin Ford has been in facilities management, he’s not dreading the ring of his mobile. His recent promotion, to assistant head of estates and facilities management at the University of Brighton, means that he’s no longer on call at all hours of the day and night. And he enjoys the freedom.
