The Monster announcement was accompanied by more bad news, that job postings on the site were in decline and according to internet data usage service Hitwise, Monster.com suffered a 47% drop in site visits in the US market between July 2006 and July this year.

It also revealed that visits to the site dropped 33% within the first six months of the year. However...
