Anti-terrorist campaign intensifies_2

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has stepped up its fight against money laundering and terrorist financing by setting a further eight global standards.

Thirty-one member countries met in Stockholm at the beginning of October to discuss the issue of anti-terrorist financing. The outcome of the meeting was the creation of eight special recommendations, mainly for guidance on the technical requirements needed to combat terrorist financing.
