Airbus MD switches to top procurement role_2

The UK managing director of aeroplane manufacturer Airbus has moved to France to take on a senior procurement role at the company's headquarters.

Tom Williams has relocated to Toulouse to become executive vice-president of procurement, following the retirement of Ray Wilson, who previously held the role.

The role gives Williams a place on Airbus's international executive committee.
