Wrexham officer set to implement value proposals

Colette Mason has been appointed procurement officer at Wrexham County Borough Council in north Wales.

Mason takes up the post following eight years as a purchasing officer at Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, near Manchester.

Wrexham is seeking to take on board the recommendations of Better Value Wales, a review of public-sector procurement carried out by the National Assembly for Wales in 2001.
