Phil McConnell has joined as corporate procurement manager. Also appointed as procurement officers are Becky Hanson and Rob Allan. The department will provide advice on best practice for the council’s staff who buy goods and services.

McConnell comes from a purchasing position at the British Library in Wetherby where he focused on the IT and facilities.
