VAT on company mobiles warning

Companies risk being fined by HM Customs & Excise if they do not separate business and personal calls made on mobile phones, warns the Communications Management Association (CMA).

The Association says a number of larger firms have already been fined by Customs for claiming VAT back on personal calls made by their staff on company mobile telephones.
