Tyneside appoints two officers to best-practice unit

Alistair Cameron and Peter Mudd have been appointed corporate procurement officers at South Tyneside Metropolitan Borough Council in a move to set up a best-practice advisory service.

Cameron was previously with Nottinghamshire County Council as a senior purchasing officer at County Supplies, a catalogue trading unit of the council.

Mudd was at Kier Sheffield, a partnership with Sheffield City Council, where he was procurement and supplies manager.
