Profession urged to keep credit for achievements

Purchasing professionals in both the public and private sector need to raise their game, according to CIPS president David Rich-Jones.
Speaking to 260 delegates at the annual CIPS Premier Conference in London, he said the profession had made substantial progress in recent years. But there was now a danger of others outside the function stealing its thunder.
