Perfect timing nets councils major savings_2

Councils in the south-east are set to save £5.5 million on their energy bills over the next two years, according to the Central Buying Consortium (CBC).

Members of the CBC, including Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Essex county councils, will make the savings on the two electricity contracts through their combined purchasing power.
