Marathon mission for CIPS member

Michael Winslow, business development director for Somera Communications, is looking to complete his fifteenth marathon in eight years when he crosses the finish line in London on Sunday.
Winslow, 57, says he hopes to come home among the first 5,000 to 6,000 runners - his “usual placing” – at around three hours and 30 minutes, knocking five minutes off his best time.
“I do it for a charity, Macmillan Cancer Relief, and I’ve raised almost £65,000 from all my runs. But I also do it to keep fit, so in a way it’s become a habit.”
