Linsell takes charge at healthcare commission

Mick Linsell has been appointed head of corporate services, including purchasing, for the new independent inspectorate Commission for Healthcare Audit and Inspection (CHAI) when it starts work next month.

The CHAI will scrutinise the delivery and performance of healthcare services and will encompass some or all of the work of several agencies: the Commission for Health Improvement (CHI), the Mental Health Act Commission, the Audit Commission, and National Care Standards Commission.
