A life of leisure pays well for purchasers

Purchasing managers’ salaries in the hospitality industry have received a boost in the past year.

Last month’s Remuneration Survey of the Leisure Industry report from the Janet Salmon Consultancy showed the salaries of top leisure industry buyers rose by 12.6 per cent in 2004-2005.

This takes their average annual salary to £70,378, which is in line with their peers in the sector.
