A six-week delay by a supplier scuppered the autumn launch of an innovative washing machine from Monotub Industries. The company hopes that its washer will rival controversial vacuum cleaner maker James Dyson’s first washing machine.
The Titan was to have been ready in early autumn, but a supplier delivered the main door seal six weeks behind schedule, according to a Monotub spokesman. The firm claims that, with its removable drum, the Titan has 40 per cent more capacity than a normal machine.
