FreeMarkets' new auction system

FreeMarkets is poised to launch the latest version of sourcing software, which it says will dramatically cut product-sourcing costs.

The self-sourcing reverse auction engine FreeMarkets QS 6.0, available next month, offers advanced negotiating formats to allow users to restrict tenderers and to increase reporting functions. It also allows negotiations to take place in a wide variety of different formats.
