DTI team set to boost procurement

The Department of Trade and Industry has revamped its procurement to give it a bigger say in the ministry’s operations.

Bill Tipping, formerly head of purchasing, is the new head of procurement at the department.

He is supported by Andy Timms, who joins as assistant director. He was previously at the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), where he was senior procurement manager.
