Davies takes over at procurement excellence centre

Paul Davies has been appointed director of a new body that will look for procurement savings across all police forces in England and Wales.

He will take over at the Centre for Procurement Excellent in the Police Service from former CIPS president Peter Smith, who was appointed interim director in January.
