Consumers say plastic is fantastic!

Card fraud fell for the first time in eight years last year, according to an industry report, which also forecasts that debit and credit cards will be more popular than cash for consumer payments by 2005.

The Way We Pay report by the Association for Payment Clearing Services (APACS) found that in 2003 card fraud fell to £402.4 million, with confidence in card use on the increase.
